Introduction: UCECOAT® 7200 is a solvent-free urethane acrylate in water developed for hardcoat application. It exhibits high scratch and abrasion resistance after curing and can be used as the main binder in waterborne hardcoat formulations.

Formulation Recommendations:

• Stir UCECOAT® 7200 prior to use, and further dilute with water if necessary.
• Adjust the pH of UCECOAT® 7200 to neutrality before formulation by adding a solution of sodium hydroxide or an amine solution.
• Addition of anti-crater and wetting agents like Tego™ Twin 4100 may improve the aspect of the coating.

Storage and Handling:

• Avoid exposure to temperatures exceeding 40°C or direct sunlight to prevent destabilization or uncontrollable polymerization.
• Store above 4°C and use stainless steel, amber glass, or amber polyethylene containers.
• Use air to displace material removed from the container.
• Do not store for more than 6 months.

• Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and inhalation of vapors.
• Direct contact may cause minimal eye and skin irritation.
