Typical Properties:
Key Benefits:
Technical Features:
SETAQUA® ECO 9400 is highlighted as the hardest and most damage-resistant member of a polymer family aimed at providing more ecologically responsible exterior coatings. It's a high Tg (glass transition temperature), general-purpose polymer offering a more environmentally responsible option for coatings requiring higher damage resistance. Notably, it's manufactured without the use of formaldehyde or formaldehyde-generating raw materials.
Application:
Recommended for highly durable coatings across a wide range of gloss levels, with exceptional gloss development suitable for high gloss paint systems. It exhibits excellent adhesion to various substrates, including masonry, aged alkyd, fiber cement sheeting, concrete roof tiles, and various metals. Particularly suited for inflexible substrates such as masonry and concrete tiles, where its high hardness allows the formulation of coatings with a high level of dirt pick-up resistance.
Storage:
It should be stored under cover, out of direct sunlight, and avoiding extreme temperature changes. Sealed, unopened containers have a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture under normal storage conditions (5−35°C). If stored for longer, the product must be rechecked for suitability.
Safety:
Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before handling or use.
Overall, SETAQUA® ECO 9400 offers a range of environmental benefits, excellent performance characteristics, and versatility for exterior architectural coatings.
