EBECRYL® 285

EBECRYL® 285 is an aliphatic urethane diacrylate oligomer diluted with 25% of tripropyleneglycol diacrylate (TPGDA) monomer. It's primarily used in UV/EB (ultraviolet/electron beam) cured products where it exhibits good exterior durability, toughness, flexibility, and non-yellowing properties typical of aliphatic urethanes.

Viscosity Reduction: EBECRYL® 285 can be diluted with reactive monomers such as trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA), tripropyleneglycol diacrylate (TPGDA), and oligotriacrylate (OTA 480). The choice of reactive diluent(s) will influence properties like hardness and flexibility.

Storage and Handling:

• Avoid temperatures exceeding 40°C and direct sunlight.
• Use stainless steel, amber glass, amber polyethylene, or baked phenolic lined containers.
• Do not store under an oxygen-free atmosphere.
• Use dry air to displace material removed from the container.
• Shelf life is not more than 2 years.
