EBECRYL® 145

EBECRYL® 145 is a propoxylated neopentyl glycol diacrylate, which is an aliphatic difunctional acrylate with low surface tension. It exhibits good viscosity reducing and solvency characteristics in UV/EB curable formulations, making it effective for developing low viscosity and low volatility coatings and inks.

• Introduction: EBECRYL® 145 is designed to enhance pigment wetting, flow, and leveling during formulation. It facilitates rapid flow out during high-speed processing and results in minimum film shrinkage upon curing. Additionally, it offers reactivity, weatherability, water and chemical resistance, flexibility, adhesion on multiple substrates, hardness, abrasion resistance, and impact strength in cured inks and coatings.
• Suggested Applications: EBECRYL® 145 is suitable for various applications including clear and pigmented coatings, overprint varnishes, liquid inks, flexography, lithography, inkjet printing, gravure, and pressure-sensitive adhesives.

• Storage and Handling: Avoid exposing EBECRYL® 145 to temperatures exceeding 40°C for prolonged periods or direct sunlight, as it may cause uncontrollable polymerization. Store and handle the material in appropriate containers such as stainless steel, amber glass, amber polyethylene, or baked phenolic lined containers. Avoid storing the material in an oxygen-free atmosphere and use dry air to displace material removed from the container. The material should not be stored for more than 2 years.
