Description

Desmophen® C 1200 is a linear aliphatic polycarbonate polyester. It is supplied as a solvent-free, medium-viscosity liquid.

Solubility / Thinnability

Desmophen® C 1200 is generally compatible with esters, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons, and ether esters. However, the storage stability of solutions should be tested. Only PU grade solvents (< 0.05 % water, free of other reactive impurities) should be used.

Desmophen® C 1200 is compatible with many other Desmophen grades, but compatibility should always be tested beforehand.

Storage

• Conditions: Store in the original sealed Covestro container at temperatures between 0 - 30 °C.

• Note: The product is hygroscopic and crystallizes at temperatures ≤ 15 °C. Crystals can be melted by carefully heating to a maximum of 60 °C.
