Desmodur® IL 1351 51% BA

Desmodur® IL 1351 51% BA is an aromatic polyisocyanate based on toluene diisocyanate (TDI). It serves as a hardener component for fast-drying, two-component polyurethane coatings. This product is supplied in a solution with approximately 51% content in butyl acetate.

Desmodur® IL 1351 51% BA is compatible with many Desmophen® grades and Desmodur® grades, facilitating its use in various formulations for very fast-drying systems. It finds applications in industries such as furniture, where short drying times and early sandability are required.

As with other products in the Desmodur® range, Desmodur® IL 1351 51% BA should be stored in its original sealed container at temperatures between 0 to 30°C, protected from moisture, heat, and foreign material. It is sensitive to moisture, and storage at higher temperatures may result in increased viscosity.
