ADDITOL® XL 6577 is a wetting and dispersing agent primarily used for solvent-containing systems in the coatings and ink industries. It acts as a low molecular weight additive that facilitates the deflocculation and stabilization of inorganic pigments through electrical charging at the pigment surface. This enables the formulation of low viscosity millbases, leading to coatings and inks with high gloss and improved color strength.

- Deflocculation and stabilization of inorganic pigments: It actively prevents the settling of pigments and extenders, offering good leveling properties.

Storage recommendations include keeping it at room temperature, away from heat, sparks, and open flame. Long-term exposure to temperatures below 10°C may cause cloudiness and crystallization, which can be reversed by warming the product to 30 - 40°C for several hours.
