TAFIGEL PUR 48 is a rheology modifier produced by MÜNZING CHEMIE GmbH, designed for aqueous systems. It is a nonionic polyurethane thickener that is free from APE (alkylphenol ethoxylate), VOC (volatile organic compounds), and organotin. This product is utilized to enhance the viscosity and stability of various formulations by forming a network with polyurethane, binder molecules, and pigment particles.

• Storage Conditions: Store cool and dry. The product is not sensitive to freezing, but a creamy layer may form on the surface during storage, so it must be stirred properly before use.
• Shelf Life: Minimum of 15 months from the date of manufacture in closed containers.

ACRYSOL™ RM-845 Rheology Modifier is a product developed by Dow Coating Materials designed for use in architectural and industrial coatings. It is a solvent-free and APEO-free (alkylphenol ethoxylate-free) non-ionic rheology modifier that enhances the viscosity, flow, and leveling properties of paints and coatings.

Formulation Guidelines:

• Co-Thickener Recommendation: To achieve desired ICI viscosity targets, it can be used with ACRYSOL™ RM-2020NPR or ACRYSOL™ RM-5000 rheology modifiers.
• Mixing Conditions: Should be added under good mixing conditions for complete incorporation.
• pH Considerations: Efficiency decreases below pH 8; adjust pH if necessary after addition to the formulation.

Handling and Storage:

• Storage: Store in tightly closed original containers at temperatures recommended on the product label. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
