Storage and Handling

Application Details

• Curing: Occurs at ambient temperature in the presence of moisture and a catalyst. It can be used in one-part or two-part systems and shows good adhesion to various substrates without pretreatment.
• Processing: Dissolves readily in standard organic solvents and is virtually insoluble in aqueous media. Reacts slowly with water or atmospheric humidity, releasing methanol and forming a resinous deposit.
• Formulation: Can be mixed with various fillers, plasticizers, antioxidants, UV- and light-stabilizers. Recommended catalysts include amine catalysts, titanium compounds, and acids (phosphoric or tartaric).
• Surface Treatment: Always apply the formulation to clean and dry surfaces.

Storage

• Storage Temperature: Recommended maximum of 40°C (104°F) and minimum of 10°C (50°F).
• Shelf Life: The 'Best use before end' date is shown on the product label, and properties should be checked for quality assurance if used beyond this date.
