Liocrylam 432 is an aqueous pure acrylic emulsion characterized by its fine-particle size and being solvent- and plasticizer-free. Here are the details:
Characteristics:
- Aqueous pure acrylic emulsion.
- Fine-particle size.
- Solvent- and plasticizer-free.
Supplied as:
Properties:
- Non-volatile content: 46 +/- 1% (as supplied).
- Viscosity in mPas: Less than 1,500 (as supplied).
- pH-value: 7.5-9.0 (as supplied).
- Minimum film-forming temperature in °C: Approximately 5.
- Density in g/cm³: Approximately 1.05.
- Emulsifier system: Anionic.
Properties and fields of use:
- Suitable for the formulation of primer coats with good wet adhesion.
- Used in pigmented matt and silk interior and exterior paints.
- Can be used as an adherend surface for substrates that are difficult to wet (e.g., terrazzo tiles), either alone or mixed with cement.
- Exhibits alkali stability, increased water stability, very good wet adhesion, shear stability, and good stamp adhesion.
- Films of the binder display good tensile strength and elasticity.
Storage:
- Should be stored in tightly closed, corrosion-resistant containers, protected from frost and direct sunlight, at temperatures ranging from +5 to +25°C.
Note: The emulsion is preserved for storage and contains no formaldehyde or formaldehyde-releasing products. It also does not contain alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEO’s).
