WorléeKyd B 870 (75% In White Spirit 145-195) is a long oil, low-viscosity drying alkyd resin based on vegetable fatty acids, specifically designed for high-quality air-drying gloss paints. Here are its technical details:

• Oil content: Approximately 69%
• Oil type: Vegetable fatty acids
• Content of phthalic anhydride: Approximately 21%
• Non-volatile content, 1h/125 °C: 75% ± 1
• **Colour (Gardner), 60% in white spirit

145 - 195:** Maximum 10

• Acid value, on solids: Maximum 15
• Flow time, 20 °C, 60% in white spirit 145 - 195: 60 - 80 seconds

Similar to other variants, WorléeKyd B 870 is compatible with most medium and long oil drying alkyds, usual hard resins, as well as raw and polymerized oils. It's soluble in all common solvents.

This particular resin is developed for high-quality non-yellowing gloss paints used in decorative and trade sales applications. Its low viscosity and excellent pigment wetting properties contribute to excellent brushability, high film build, very good leveling properties, and high gloss and gloss retention.

For drying, the following recommendations are made:

• Cobalt (Co): 0.03 - 0.06%
• Zirconium (Zr): 0.04 - 0.09%
• Calcium (Ca): 0.15 - 0.20% or
• Nuodex Combi APB (Elementis): 6.5% (on alkyd solid content)
