SYNAQUA® 2070

SYNAQUA® 2070 is a medium oil alkyd emulsion developed by Arkema Coating Resins for use in decorative paints, particularly in interior undercoat formulations. However, it is also suitable for other applications such as matt paints, exterior primers for wood, wood stains or metal, and corrosion-resistant primers.

Formulation Guidelines:

• Driers: Recommend using driers developed for water-based coatings
• Rheology: Can be controlled using cellulose ethers or associative thickeners
• Compatibility: Can be used in combination with acrylic dispersions and is compatible with commonly used pigments and extenders
• Other Additives: Dispersing agents such as sodium salts of polyacrylic acid can be used

Storage & Handling:

• Store indoors in the original, unopened, and undamaged container
• Store in a dry place at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight
• Shelf life is 6 months from the shipping date under the specified storage conditions
