IMPRANIL® DL 1554

Impranil® DL 1554 is an anionic, aliphatic polyester-polyurethane dispersion used for formulating textile coatings in various applications. Here's a breakdown:

Characterization: It's an anionic, aliphatic polyester-polyurethane dispersion.

Form Supplied: This product is supplied as a white low-viscosity dispersion in water with a solids content of approximately 60%.

  • Volume swelling: 300% with ethyl acetate, 0% with water
  • Melting range: 170 - 180°C

Storage: It should be stored in the original sealed Covestro container at a recommended temperature of 5 - 30°C, protected from frost, heat, and foreign material. Brief heating to a maximum of 50°C has no adverse effect on product properties.

Impranil® DL 1554 offers excellent flexibility, lightfastness, and resistance to hydrolysis, making it suitable for applications such as outerwear, bags/luggage, and fashion shoe uppers.
