Preparation Steps

Step 2: Premix Preparation

1. Separately mix the Asconium-142DA and AMP 90 while stirring to form a premix.

1. In the let-down tank, progressively add the Maincote HG100 binder, the premix from Step 2, BYK 024, deionized water, DPnB, Ascotran-H10, and the mill-base from Step 1 with continuous stirring.

Performance Testing

Salt-Spray Test

• Objective: To evaluate the corrosion resistance of the coating.
• Method: Apply the coating to cold-rolled steel panels to achieve a dry film thickness (DFT) of 70 µm.
• Test Condition: Expose the coated panels to salt spray (fog) conditions for 500 hours.
