Desmoseal® S XP 2821

Desmoseal® S XP 2821 is an aliphatic silane-terminated prepolymer primarily used as a binder in the production of:

• Flexible adhesives
• Hard sealants
• Coatings

It is designed for moisture-curing one-component systems that cure without bubbles or blisters when processed correctly. The product is currently in a trial phase, meaning extensive experience with its use is limited.

• Viscosity (23°C): Approx. 20,000 mPa·s
• Density (20°C): Approx. 1.07 g/cm3
• Flash point: Approx. 57°C
• Pour point: Approx. -18°C

Important Considerations:

• Storage: Store in the original sealed container at temperatures between 0°C and 30°C, away from moisture, heat, and foreign materials.
• Shelf Life: Covestro guarantees the product will meet specifications for six months from the shipment date if stored correctly. Testing is recommended after this period.
• Trial Product: This is a trial product, and its behavior during processing or use may not be fully understood. Thorough testing is crucial before using it in any application.
