Desmodur® I is a monomeric cycloaliphatic diisocyanate used in the manufacture of polyisocyanates and polyurethanes. Its chemical name is isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), with a molecular weight of 222 and an equivalent weight of 111. It is supplied as a clear liquid.
