Description

DABCO® 33 LV is a catalyst that promotes the urethane (polyol-isocyanate) reaction. It is a mixture consisting of:

• 33% triethylene diamine
• 67% dipropylene glycol

Applications

DABCO® 33 LV is utilized in the manufacture of all types of polyurethane foam, both flexible and rigid. It is also used in CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers) applications. For foam formulations, DABCO® 33 LV can replace DABCO® CRYSTALLINE at a ratio of 3:1. For example, 0.3 parts per hundred parts polyol (pphp) of DABCO® 33 LV replaces 0.1 pphp of DABCO® CRYSTALLINE.

Recommended Storage Conditions

• Shelf Life: At least 24 months from the date of manufacture.
• Storage Temperature: Optimal between 10 °C and 30 °C.
• Storage: Should be kept in factory-packed containers and protected from extreme weather conditions, especially heat and moisture. Avoid temperatures outside the recommended range.
