Nature: Polyolefin
Appearance: Off-white micronized powder
Active Content: 100%
Particle Size Distribution: DV. 5: 3 - 6 µm
Description:
CRAYVALLAC® WN-1495 serves as a matting agent while also enhancing surface properties such as scratch and abrasion resistance. Its fine particle size distribution ensures improved performance and ease of incorporation into coatings and inks.
Recommended Addition Level:
0.5 – 2.5% under low to medium shear dispersion.
Standard Packaging:
Available in 15 kg bags. Other packaging options may be available upon request.
Handling & Storage:
Store in the original containers in a dry place at temperatures between 5°C (41°F) and 30°C (86°F). Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or frost. Use within 48 months from production under these conditions.
Processing Instructions:
CRAYVALLAC® WN-1495 can be readily dispersed into coating formulations using various techniques such as high-speed dispersers, bead mills, and triple roll mills. It is recommended to incorporate micronized waxes into coating systems at the first stage of formulation. Alternatively, they may be added immediately following the dispersion stage but prior to the final letdown.
