ASCOTRAN® H17 is an antiflash-rust additive, primarily used in waterborne coatings for protecting metal surfaces from corrosion. Here are its main characteristics:
Function: ASCOTRAN® H17 serves as a ready-to-use liquid-form antiflash-rust additive for waterborne coatings. It functions as a corrosion inhibitor for metal packaging protection.
Applications: Suitable for various waterborne paint or coating applications, including industrial, professional, or do-it-yourself use. It can be used in paints, thick coatings, varnishes, stains, mastics, glues, etc.

Incorporation/Dosage: Can be added at any manufacturing step or post-added. In 2K systems, it's generally added in the resin part. Dosages vary based on the substrate condition and the intended application.

- Appearance: Pale yellow limpid liquid.

- Freezing point: < 0°C
- VOC: 0%
Packaging: Available in plastic pails of 30 kg net, metal drums of 200 kg net, or IBCs (Intermediate Bulk Containers) of 1100 kg net.
Storage: Should be stored ideally between 0 to 30°C, away from direct exposure to sunlight. Shelf life is two years in its original closed drum under the recommended storage conditions.
