ASCONIUM®-143 is an organic corrosion inhibitor developed for use in metal coatings. Here are some key points about ASCONIUM®-143:

Function: It serves to replace mineral anticorrosion pigments or enhance their performance in waterborne or solventborne metal coatings. Additionally, it acts as a hydrophobic agent, improving the water resistance of dry films.

Application: Suitable for various types of liquid metal coatings used in industrial, professional, or do-it-yourself applications, particularly primers or direct-to-metal systems. It can be incorporated into coatings based on 1K or 2K acrylics, alkyds, or epoxies, whether waterborne or solventborne.

• Appearance: Yellow to amber limpid liquid.
• Density (20°C): 0.98 ± 0.02
• Viscosity (20°C): < 20 cps
• Freezing Point: < -10°C
• Flash Point: Approximately 75°C
• Miscibility: Miscible with various solvents including water, ethanol, isopropanol, ethylene glycol, butylglycol, DPM, MEK, and acetone.

Packaging and Storage: Available in plastic pails of 26kg net or metal drums of 185kg net. Recommended storage temperature is between -5 to 30°C, with protection from direct sunlight. It's essential to tightly seal the container after each use. The product has an expiration of 18 months in its original sealed drum under specified storage conditions.
