Alkyd emulsion high gloss white top coat

Components and Their Functions:

1. Water
   • Function: Serves as the primary vehicle for the formulation, aiding in dispersion and application.
2. Wetting/Dispersing Agent (Block Co-polymer Disperbyk 190)
   • Function: Facilitates the dispersion of pigments and fillers, ensuring uniform color development and distribution.
3. Foam Control Agent (Blend of modified silicone oils Drew 210-862)
   • Function: Controls foam formation during mixing and application, contributing to a smooth finish.
4. NSAT Rheology Modifier (Aquaflow NMS-450E)
   • Function: Adjusts the viscosity and flow behavior of the formulation, improving its application properties.
5. In-can Preservative (Biocide Nuosept BIC)
   • Function: Prevents microbial growth within the paint, enhancing its shelf life and stability.
6. Pigment (Titanium dioxide Kronos 2190)

Let Down:

• Surfactant (Phosphate ester Dextrol OC-180HS): Enhances dispersion and stability of the formulation.
• NSAT Rheology Modifier (Aquaflow NHS-350E): Further adjusts the viscosity and flow behavior of the formulation to optimize application properties.
