ADDITOL® VXW 6208 is a polymeric non-ionic dispersing additive delivered as an active substance with approximately 50% concentration. It serves as a dispersing agent for both organic and inorganic pigments and extenders. This additive facilitates the production of binder-free pigment pastes used in waterborne alkyd and acrylic paint formulations, particularly in gloss and silk finish emulsion paints.

Processing:
The optimal quantity of ADDITOL® VXW 6208 for pigment and pigment/extender paste production should be determined through testing. The recommended addition rates are:
- 3 - 10% for inorganic pigments and/or extenders
- 15 - 50% for organic pigments
Storage:
Stored in original containers at temperatures up to 25 °C, the stability of ADDITOL® VXW 6208 is guaranteed for at least 730 days. Products containing water may freeze or become inhomogeneous below 0 °C, thus they should be stored frost-free. The lowest recommended storage temperature is 5 °C.
