Acrylic semi-gloss white paint - PVC 30% - Neocryl* XK-90

This formulation yields an interior/exterior semi-gloss paint with superior properties. It utilizes aquaflow™ XLS-500E and aquaflow™ NHS-300E as non-ionic synthetic associative thickeners (NSAT) to achieve the desired rheology. The PVC is set at 30% using Neocryl* XK-90, an acrylic semi-gloss white paint.

Components and Their Functions:

• Solvent (Propylene Glycol): Facilitates proper application consistency.
• Neutralizing Agent (Alkaline pHLEX 400): Adjusts pH for stability and performance.
• Pigment (Titanium Dioxide Tioxide R-HD2): Provides color and opacity.
• Extender (Calcium Carbonate Omyacarb Extra-CL): Increases volume and improves coverage.

Let Down:

• Binder (Modified Acrylic Copolymer Emulsion Neocryl XK-90): Forms a durable film upon drying, providing adhesion and protection.
• Surfactant (Phosphate Co-Ester Strodex PK-85NV): Enhances wetting and dispersion.
• Coalescent (Di-Ethylene Glycol): Promotes film formation and enhances properties.
• NSAT Rheology Modifiers (Aquaflow XLS-500E and Aquaflow NHS-300E): Adjust viscosity and flow behavior for optimal application.
