Deuteron MM 682

DEUTERON MM 682 is a compound of matting agents, specifically formulated using organic duromeric PMU powder (Polymethyl urea) combined with inorganic materials. It's designed primarily as a matting agent for coil coating systems and pigmented systems. Notably, it does not contain any waxes.

These matting agents are versatile and can be utilized across various coating applications, including waterborne, solvent-borne, and 100% systems. They can be used alone or in combination with other additives to enhance properties further.

The use of DEUTERON MM 682 offers several advantages, including:

DEUTERON MM 682 is a fine white powder with a density of approximately 1.5 g/cm3. Its particle size distribution is characterized by a dv50 of approximately 6 µm and a dv90 of approximately 12.8 µm.

In terms of processing, these matting agents are highly compatible with a wide range of systems. They can be easily incorporated using a high-speed stirrer without the need for specific wetting agents or dispersing aids. However, they should not be ground in a bead mill.

Storage conditions recommend storing the product at room temperature and dry conditions for up to 24 months, with a maximum temperature of 35°C.
