Desmodur® IL 1351 51% EA

Desmodur® IL 1351 51% EA is an aromatic polyisocyanate based on toluene diisocyanate (TDI). It functions as a hardener component for fast-drying, two-component polyurethane coatings. This product is supplied in a solution with approximately 51% content in ethyl acetate.

It is particularly suitable for use in combination with Desmophen® 1300 for very fast-drying systems, often utilized in the furniture industry where short drying times and early sandability are essential.

As with other polyisocyanates, Desmodur® IL 1351 51% EA should be handled with care and appropriate protective measures, especially when used in coating materials or adhesives. It is intended for industrial or trade applications and not recommended for DIY use.

Storage recommendations include keeping the product in its original sealed container at temperatures between 0 to 30°C, protected from moisture, heat, and foreign material. Storage at higher temperatures may lead to increased viscosity.
