TPGDA, or Tripropylene Glycol Diacrylate, is a difunctional reactive diluent with a branched alkyl polyether backbone. It undergoes polymerization when exposed to sources of free radicals. TPGDA is commonly utilized as a primary diluent in the formulation of ultraviolet light (UV) and electron beam (EB) energy-curable coatings and inks.

Precautions:

• Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before using TPGDA for information on identified hazards, recommended personal protective equipment, and procedures.
• Avoid exposure to high temperature conditions, direct sunlight, ignition sources, oxidizing agents, alkalis, or acids, as they may cause uncontrollable polymerization of the product.
• Store and handle TPGDA in appropriate containers such as stainless steel, amber glass, amber polyethylene, or baked phenolic lined containers.
• Avoid procedures that remove or displace oxygen from the material. Do not store TPGDA under an oxygen-free atmosphere.
• Wash thoroughly after handling and keep the container tightly closed. Use with adequate ventilation.
