Styrene Acrylic Interior Flat White Paint with 2% pigment - PVC 85% - Acronal* 290D

This formulation is designed for interior applications, providing a flat finish. It incorporates Natrosol™ 250 HHBR hydroxyethylcellulose (HEC) as a rheology modifier and Aquaflow™ XLS-530 as a rheology modifier. The PVC is set at 85% using Acronal* 290D, a styrene acrylic interior flat white paint with 2% pigment.

Components and Their Functions:

• Water: Primary vehicle for dispersion and application.
• Rheology Modifier (HEC Natrosol™ 250 HHBR and Aquaflow™ XLS-530): Adjusts viscosity and provides thickening properties.
• Dispersing Agents (Sodium Polyphosphate Calgon N and Sodium Polyacrylate Jaypol™ S40):* Ensure proper dispersion of pigments and fillers.
• Foam Control Agent (Hydrocarbons containing silica Drewplus™ L-1513E): Prevents foam formation during mixing and application.
• Preservative (Biocide Nuosept BM11):* Maintains paint integrity by preventing microbial growth.
• Pigment (Titanium Dioxide Kronos 2190):* Provides opacity and color.
• Extender (Calcium Carbonate Omyacarb 2 GU):* Increases volume and improves hiding power.

Let Down:

• Binder (Styrene Acrylic Latex Acronal 290D):* Forms a durable film upon drying, providing adhesion and protection.
• Coalescing Agents (Glycol Ether Dowanol PM and Ester Alcohol Texanol):** Aid in film formation and improve drying characteristics.
• Water: Adjusts viscosity and consistency.
• Rheology Modifier (NSAT Aquaflow™ XLS-530): Further adjusts viscosity and provides additional thickening properties.
