High gloss white top coat formula

This formulation is designed to produce a high gloss white top coat with excellent opacity, durability, and application properties. It utilizes a combination of components to achieve desired characteristics, including binders, pigments, rheology modifiers, and additives for stability and performance.

Components and Their Functions:

1. Water
   • Function: Serves as a vehicle for other components, aiding in dispersion and application.
2. Dispersing Agent (Ammonium-salt Polyacrylate Dispex AA 4040)
   • Function: Facilitates the dispersion of pigments and fillers, ensuring uniform color development.
3. Foam Control Agent (Emulsion of polysiloxanes Drew™ 210-886)
   • Function: Controls foam formation during mixing and application, contributing to a smooth finish.
4. Biocide (Nuosept BIC)
   • Function: In-can preservative, preventing microbial growth within the paint.
5. Co-solvent (Propaan-1,2-diol Propylene Glycol)
   • Function: Enhances the solubility of other components, improving formulation stability.
6. Neutralizing Agent (Alkaline pHLEX™ 400)
   • Function: Adjusts the pH of the formulation for optimal performance.
7. Pigment (Titanium dioxide Tioxide R-HD2)
   • Function: Primary pigment providing opacity and brightness to the coating.
8. Binder (Acrylic Latex Primal HG-74D)
   • Function: Forms a film that adheres to the substrate, providing adhesion and durability to the coating.
9. NSAT Rheology Modifiers (Aquaflow™ NMS-450E and Aquaflow™ NHS-350E)
   • Function: Adjust the viscosity and flow behavior of the paint, improving application properties.
