Bayhydrol® U XP 2766

Bayhydrol® U XP 2766 is an anionic, hydroxyfunctional polyester-polyurethane dispersion designed for use as a binder in water-reducible two-component polyurethane (2K-PUR) coatings. This product is solvent-free and offers several beneficial properties that make it suitable for high-performance coatings.

Applications

These coatings are ideal for applications requiring high performance and aesthetic quality, offering high gloss and low haze values.

Compatibility

Bayhydrol® U XP 2766 is compatible with various polyacrylic dispersions. Compatibility tests should be conducted when mixing with other co-reactants to ensure optimal performance.

Storage and Handling

• Storage Conditions: Must be stored in the original sealed container at temperatures between >0 and 30 °C, protected from frost, heat, and contamination.
• Storage Sensitivity: Sensitive to prolonged freezing and high temperatures. Storage beyond recommended conditions can lead to viscosity changes, sedimentation, or coagulation.
• Viscosity Maintenance: Can be restored by adding a 10% aqueous solution of dimethyl ethanolamine if decreased due to pH changes.
