Aqueous white glossy two-pack PU topcoat, fast drying, good hardness

Starting Formulation of an Industrial Coating labeled "Industrial Coatings EU SF 1.27." It's an aqueous white glossy two-pack PU topcoat designed to dry quickly and possess good hardness. The formulation is based on Bayhydrol A 2470 / Bayhydur 304.

Application: The coating is intended for spraying using an HVLP-pneumatic flow cup spray gun with a nozzle size of 1.4mm and an air pressure of approximately 1.9 bar. Before application, approximately 20% water should be added to adjust the spray viscosity.

• Drying time: 0.5 h / 2 h (DIN 53150; TG 1 / TG 3)
• Gloss and Haze: 20° / 60° / Haze (DIN EN ISO 2813; on steel): 80 / 89 / 22
• Film Hardness: After 1 day at 23 °C: 115 s, after 7 days at 23 °C: 160 s
